Ristorante Da Vinci in Ladenburg

So far we have always enjoyed going to this restaurant and have also ordered food there during the lockdown to support the people. Since last Saturday things have looked different. The weather was good, so tables were even provided on the market square, as there were a lot of guests. Unfortunately, far too few staff were used for this. Probably according to the motto: The main thing is to take as much as possible with you before winter, with the least possible effort. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food (all pasta dishes). The portions were much smaller than usual, the taste was unfortunately bland, as hardly seasoned, but the food was significantly more expensive than before Corona. This is how you get rid of guests. The staff was friendly as always, but hopelessly overwhelmed. If you have to wait 45 minutes for the food and then don't even get what you ordered, that's more than annoying. The guests at our next table didn't get the salad they had ordered - but it was listed on the bill. The people noted several points of criticism, whereupon the "exaggeratedly good-humored" waitress asked: "But otherwise the food was tasty?" When it got noticeably cooler after an hour, the guests in the coffee house opposite were handed chair cushions and blankets, unfortunately not in the Da Vinci, although several women and older people were visibly cold. If you have been mostly satisfied with a restaurant so far, you can overlook something - but not over so many shortcomings. The drastically raised prices are in no relation to the quantity offered and certainly not to quality. It was already clear on this day that our case is not an isolated case, but the recent experiences of several acquaintances, who also often came to Da Vinic from abroad, also confirmed our experience. We are sorry that there has been such a (downward) development in a restaurant that we always liked to go to.

Delicious red wine. A little too warm. I could try beforehand which wine I prefer. Nice evening atmosphere on the square.

Very long waiting times. Sometimes the food comes quickly, but the bill takes forever or vice versa. People like to forget something, annoying and a shame. Otherwise beautiful location and delicious food.

It's not just the run-of-the-mill Italian. There are absolutely delicious and sometimes unusual Italian dishes, such as homemade filled pasta in a wide variety of styles. All at very moderate prices.

First of all the positive, our service was very nice and tried very hard, you could clearly feel that. The location, in the middle of the beautiful old town of Ladenburg, is also nice. The food, however, was almost a disaster. The quality was of inferior nature and cannot be reconciled in any way with the rather high prices. The culinary art is also to be questioned, because the meat was seared to death, in combination with poor quality everyone can imagine what kind of rag was on my plate. The noodles were okay, but not a highlight and very blandly seasoned. The waiting times are extreme, almost 45 minutes, with low occupancy we had to wait until the food was on the table. Something urgently needs to be done in terms of quality.

Only one (tried) service is not enough for the number of tables, so the waiting times are correspondingly long. Napkins with the imprint of another restaurant do not create a particularly serious impression. In my opinion, the overall package does not do justice to the high price.

I've been here several times and always had to wait a long time. The food is good, except for the fries.

Home made pasta and pizza was great. we’ve been here 3 times in the last 5 weekand service has been consistently at zero stars. today we’ve been waiting for 1 hour now and still didn’t get our food.

Nice little restaurant with suitable cuisine, which naturally reaches its capacity limits when the weather is nice with many guests outside. Then there are longer waiting times.

The service was very friendly, but the food was not good at all. Carelessly arranged and the cheapest ingredients used. No pleasure at all. We really hoped for more because the restaurant is right in the center and the prices were quite high ... too bad. Will unfortunately not eat there anymore.

There were three of us there. It took a little longer for the drinks to be ordered before the drinks came, again longer. 2 starters ordered, the first came after about 1 hour, long after it was finished we asked for the second. Then came, almost promptly. It was a salad, no dressing over it, then went back to the kitchen ... 3 minutes later the 3 main dishes, 2 of them wrong. The risotto ordered was very simple rice !!!!!! Absolutely not to be recommended ....

Located in the center of the city, on the market square, the ristorante is almost overlooked from the outside. Anyone who missed it and didn't enjoy the delicious dishes missed something. The service is friendly and competent too.

We had an Amazing dinner here, a few days ago. This is one of the dish i took. They have also a bere good fish dishes with truffle. You defenetly have to go!

Me and My friends Went here and it Was awesome. We took pasta with seafoods and here is a Photo of a dish suggested by The chef. I would defenetly come back.

If you read the reviews like this, it can not be any more different ... My experience was as follows: We were greeted in the restaurant very nice and the table was clean and partially covered. The window sill unfortunately not, everything was a bit careless (decoration, flowers on the tables was probably a bit older) and does not meet the standard you want to evoke by the first impression by the covers ... Had I wished that the cutlery set (with which I did not want to dine) and the monstrous cloth napkin after we had taken place, unfortunately, not, was then the whole time on the table, but luckily you still brought cutlery in a paper napkin , The drink came very fast, but a Spezi looks different, he was very pale ... The two pizzas Capricciosa came after a reasonable time at the table, one was appetizing to look at, the other was rather dry (especially the fried egg) and luke warm. What was missing was the price of appropriate cover ... The price was almost ok and the service was friendly, to return unfortunately it was not enough ...

Great steak!! Lots of choice on the menu, nice terrace area and friendly staff. Food was a bit too salty for my pallette, may not bother most people however.
